April Meeting Highlights -- Sequencing was the topic of the night thanks to member Kathy V. Kathy quoted several different publications and gave us some thought provoking questions. During our discussion we had enlightenments, some of us had revelations and there were some words of 'food for thought'. Delightedly, our group is diversified as to type of career past. And besides being full time moms, some of us are also part time hobby/sanity workers, part time cash workers or re-entering previous careers or entering something new. It's really nice to know that we have so many different options and of course the support we receive from each other.

The Toddler Diet "Over the years you may have noticed that most 2 yr olds are trim. After consultation with pediatricians, x-ray technicians, and distraught mothers, I was able to formulate this new diet. It is inexpensive and offers great variety and sufficient quantity. Enjoy?" (try it yourself) Day 1: Bkfst - 1 scrambled egg, 1 toast with grape jelly. Eat 2 bites of egg using your fingers; dump the rest on the floor. Take 1 bite of toast, then smear the jelly over your face and clothes. Lunch - 4 crayons (any color) a handful of potato chips, and a glass of milk (3 sips), then spill the rest. Dinner - A dry stick, 2 pennies, 4 sips of flat diet pop. Bedtime snack - Toast, butter it and then toss it face down on the floor. Day 2: Brkfst - Pick up stale toast from the floor and eat it. Drink ½ bottle of vanilla extract or one vial of vegetable dye. Lunch - Half tube of "Pulsating Pink" lipstick and one ice cube, if desired. Afternoon snack - lick an all day sucker until sticky, take it outside and drip in dirt. Retrieve and continue slurping until clean again, then bring inside and drop on living room carpet. Dinner - A rock or an uncooked bean, which should be thrust up your left nostril. Pour iced tea over mashed potatoes, eat with spoon. Okay, you get the picture

Thanks to Adrienne for the laughter; who received this from someone on email. Happy Mothers Day to Everyone, may you have a wonderful day - you deserve it. Being a good mom is the most important job in life, not to mention, the most challenging job of all!
