Formerly known as FEMALE, Mothers & More is an international not-for-profit organization supporting sequencing women - mothers who have altered their career paths in order to care for their children at home. The organization advocates for public and emplyment policies that accommodate sequencing while addressing women's personal needs and interests during their active parenting years.
Since its inception in 1987, Mothers & More has grown to more than 180 chapters and almost 8000 members worldwide.
We would like to invite you to join us at one of our meetings!
Our members meet in the Highland Twp. area from 7-9pm. Our location and date for meetings will change through the summer. *If you plan on attending a meeting, please call first as we are looking for permanent meeting location.*
Our chapter began in August 1996 and averages 20-25 members, and we have members from Northwest Oakland County and its surrounding communities.
We offer monthly meetings, monthly newsletter, Mom's Night Out, Mom & Tot Outings, In A Pinch, HOOT & OWL (Husbands Out of Town Or Working Late), and a variety of volunteer opportunities.
Before joining, you are welcome to attend 3 events (except playgroups).
